Draft Perth and Kinnoull Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan
Overview
Perth and Kinross Council is required by law to protect conservation areas from development which would be detrimental to their character.
A conservation area appraisal for Perth and Kinnoull has been prepared as a management tool that identifies the special interest and changing needs of the conservation area.
Why your views matter
The conservation area appraisal is intended to be a guide to the history, architecture and character of the Perth and Kinnoull Conservation Areas, provide guidance for making sympathetic changes in the area.
The consultation is aimed at residents and landowners within the conservation area to gather views on the Appraisal and Management Plan.
You can read these documents, and other associated documents, below before taking part in the consultation.
There will also be two public drop-in events held as part of the consultation, where you can come along to speak to staff and make your views known:

The information provided by you will be used by Perth and Kinross Council to prepare and publish Perth & Kinnoull Conservation Areas Appraisal & Management Plan. The information will not be disclosed to third parties except as described below.
The Council may check information provided by you, or information about you provided by a third party, with other information held by us. We may also get information from certain third parties or share your information with them to verify its accuracy, prevent or detect crime, protect public funds or where required by law.
