- the risk of flooding in the Bridge of Earn area;
- the findings from the Surface Water Flood Study; and
- other actions to raise awareness and improve community resilience

- concerns around beaver activity, new development and ongoing maintenance
- support for efforts to reduce flood risk in the town, and desire to see recommendations of the study implemented.

A Question & Answer report was produced and has been made available to the community.
The flood study has been finalised and the outcomes will be reported at the next Sustainability and Climate Change committee meeting.

Overview
Perth & Kinross Council has been carrying out a surface water flood study for the Bridge of Earn area and is seeking the views of the community on the draft outputs.
All of the details relating to the study can be found in the Council’s newsletter (below) which has also been distributed to local residents and businesses.
Why your views matter
Residents are encouraged to read the newsletter and attend the community drop-in session, if possible, prior to providing their views and comments. These can be provided either by completing the form online, or by downloading the comment form and returning to the Council by Email or post. We would ask that completed comment forms are returned to the Council by Friday 23 January 2026.
What will happen next?
A response to any questions raised will be provided to the community in a ‘Question & Answer’ report.
The surface water flood study will be finalised, and we will report the outcome to the next available meeting of the Council’s Climate Change and Sustainability Committee.
