Learning from Lockdown: a Consultation with Parents and Carers

Closed 4 Oct 2020

Opened 17 Sep 2020

Overview

This survey is for all parents and carers in Perth and Kinross to ask about the support your child(ren) received from their school during lockdown.  The questions also ask about wellbeing – how healthy and happy your child(ren) were within themselves and with others during this period.

Your answers will help us to understand better what worked well for children and what did not.  This information will assist us to build on the ways schools work to help and support your child now that they have returned to school, or should lockdown be needed again.

Why your views matter

There are many different examples of how schools and communities worked during lockdown to encourage and involve children in learning and support their wellbeing.  Each school developed approaches to suit their learners and your answers will give Education and Children's Services valuable feedback. Key messages from this survey will be shared with Headteachers to support planning as children settle back into school.

This survey should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete. There are also some optional questions about children with additional support needs. You may save your response at any time and return to complete later.  To do this you will need to submit your e-mail address. Perth & Kinross Council will not have access to this information. Your response will remain anonymous.

Where possible one parent/carer should complete this survey once on behalf of the family.
