The future use of Bell's Sports Centre, Perth

A total of 1,981 people responded to this consultation.
Just over 50% of respondents told us they use leisure facilities in Perth and Kinross on a weekly basis, and almost 10% said they use facilities daily.
Almost 80% of people said that it was "very important" to them that Bell's Sports Centre continues to support public activities.
One of the options under consideration for Bell's Sports Centre is converting it into an unheated event space for indoor sports pitches. A total of 1,198 respondents agreed with this proposal (60.47%).
People said that public restrooms (90%) and changing places (89%) were the most important amenities that should be included in the future use of Bell's.
Almost 1,600 comments were received about the future use of Bell's.
The feedback used has informed to inform report which will be considered by Perth and Kinross Council on 18 June 2025. A link to that report can be found below.

Overview
Following the relocation of health and fitness activities from Bell’s Sports Centre to Dewars Centre, Perth and Kinross Council is considering options for the future use of Bell’s Sports Centre in Perth.
In September 2024 a meeting of Perth and Kinross Council instructed officers to carry out community engagement on the future of Bell's Sport Centre.
We are now seeking feedback to help guide a future decision on the facility.
