Draft Mobility Strategy
Overview
We would like you to share your thoughts on the Consultation Draft Mobility Strategy and Action Plan to help finalise the work prior to adoption.
Why your views matter
We are developing a Mobility Strategy to set a vision for managing and improving the transport network over the next 15 years. The Mobility Strategy considers all modes of transport for the movement of people and goods across Perth and Kinross’ rural and urban settings to help achieve national targets and local objectives.
A clear and simple 3-stage approach has been used to deliver the Mobility Strategy.
- Stage 1; Main Issues Report (Let’s Talk Transport) - Complete
- Stage 2; Develop Draft Strategy – On-going
- Stage 3; Finalising the Mobility Strategy – Complete by late 2024
The Let’s Talk Transport report, commonly known as a main issues report, was approved by the Council’s Environment, Infrastructure and Economic Development Committee on 29 March 2023. The report has been used as evidence for the Mobility Strategy, alongside feedback gathered from the public consultation.
The Draft Mobility Strategy and Action Plan has since been finalised and was approved for consultation by the Climate Change and Sustainability Committee on 1st May 2024. We are now seeking your feedback on the reports, which you can either download at the bottom of this page or read below.
