Mental Health and Wellbeing in Perth and Kinross
Overview
We want to hear from people who use, or may use, mental health and wellbeing services in Perth and Kinross.
Your views will help shape the future of community mental health support in Perth and Kinross. We want services to be easier to access, better connected and focused on what people need.
We would like to hear:
- what is working well
- what could be improved
- what makes it harder to get support
- what changes would make the biggest difference
Mental health includes emotional wellbeing, anxiety, low mood and mental illness that may require treatment. Services for people with a learning disability are not included.
Why this is important
Mental health affects many people. Around one in four people in Scotland experience mental health difficulties each year.
Mental health can affect many aspects of daily life, including relationships, work, physical health, independence and overall wellbeing.
Getting the right support at the right time can help people recover, stay connected to their communities and prevent problems from becoming more serious.
To improve local services, we need to understand:
- where people prefer to get support
- what helps people access services
- what barriers people face
- how services can better meet the needs of different communities
Your feedback will help us make sure support is available when and where it is needed, and in ways that work for the people who use it.
What we would like your views on
The survey asks about experiences of mental health and wellbeing support in Perth and Kinross.
We would like to know:
