Tenant Satisfaction Survey 2022
Overview
Perth & Kinross Council Housing Services is committed to listening to you and using your views to continually improve the services we provide.
To help us achieve this we regularly carry out tenant satisfaction surveys.
The survey asks for your views on the services we provide, how we communicate with you, priorities on how we spend your rent money and how happy you are with your home and neighbourhood.
This will allow us to develop Housing Services in line with what you, our tenants, want.
The survey will be entirely confidential, and none of the information you provide will be shared with anyone else.
Our contractor, Knowledge Partnership, is contacting a random sample of 1,000 tenants over the telephone and through face-to-face, socially distanced doorstep visits to carry out the survey with them. If you have been chosen as part of the sample you will have received a letter asking you to expect contact from Knowledge Partnership. We are also giving tenants who are not part of the sample the opportunity to complete the survey online here.
Once the process has been completed we will then use the results to improve how we currently work and to shape the way we will deliver services in future.
Why your views matter
The Scottish Social Housing Charter requires all social housing providers to collect and report on a number of satisfaction measures as part of our Annual Return on the Charter (ARC). The report specifically relates to seven indicators which have traditionally been captured through our two-yearly Tenant Satisfaction Survey and include:
• Taking everything into account, how satisfied or dissatisfied are you with the overall service provided by the Council as your landlord?
• Taking into account the accommodation and the services Perth and Kinross Council provides, do you think that the rent for this property represents good or poor value for money?
• How good or poor do you feel Perth and Kinross Council is at keeping you informed about their services and decisions?’
• How satisfied or dissatisfied are you with opportunities given to you to participate in Perth and Kinross Council’s decision-making processes?’
• Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied are you with the quality of your home?’
• Overall, how satisfied or dissatisfied are you with Perth and Kinross Council’s management of the neighbourhood you live in?’
