We did
Some feedback on the results were provided to tenants at a Tenant Drop-in event held on Thursday 26 June.
The detailed results of this consultation will now be analysed. The feedback will be used to pull together several options for rent levels for 2027/28, reflecting what tenants told us they want to see investment in when it comes to their Housing Services.
Tenants will be asked to vote on these proposed rent level options between October and December 2026.

Overview
We want to continue to improve our Housing Services and would like your views to help us decide what to prioritise when we spend the money you pay through your rent.
It’s very important we understand what matters to you when it comes to how we invest in your home and in the housing services we deliver.
The questions in this consultation are based on what tenants have previously told us they would like to see their rent money spent on. As well as the options included here, we will continue to increase the number of homes we make available through our new-build and buy-back programmes. This remains a key priority for tenants.
We are also legally required to make sure your home is safe and well maintained. This includes meeting our duties for servicing and compliance, such as regular gas safety and electrical checks.
We will share the results of this survey at the Summer Tenant Conference on 25 June. At the event, you will be able to ask Housing managers questions about spending priorities.
Your comments, suggestions and ideas will allow us to develop a number of rent level options for next year to deliver your priorities. You will have the opportunity to vote on these options later this year.
Everyone who responds will have the chance to be entered into a prize draw to win one of four £50 High Street shopping vouchers (one for each housing locality area).
If you are a Council tenant, please take a few minutes to take part. There are no right or wrong answers, we simply want to understand your experience as a tenant.
