Local Development Plan 3 - Call for Sites
Overview
The Planning Policy and Strategy team is opening the Call for Sites stage for the next Local Development Plan (LDP3). This provides an opportunity for communities, developers, landowners and other interested parties to suggest sites that they believe should be considered for allocation in LDP3.
Why your views matter
While it is not a legal requirement for LDP3 to include a Call for Sites, Perth and Kinross have used this methodology in previous versions of the Local Development Plan. It allows the team to identify more development opportunities, while empowering stakeholders in the plan creation process.
In addition, the Call for Sites stage can help outline locations with good potential to be delivered. By asking stakeholders to propose sites that have undergone preliminary investigations, the LDP can access proposals that are viable from a technical and commercial perspective.
