The aim of the consultation is to provide an opportunity to comment on the proposal for a lease to be granted to Calport Limited of an area of land extending to 0.140 acres together with weighbridge and associated buildings at Harbour Road Perth. This is to replace an existing lease to Calport Limited which has been in place since 28th May 1992 and is due to expire 27th May 2022. The leased subjects are shown outlined in red on the following plan.
The lease would be granted on the following terms:
The ground proposed to be leased has Common Good status and the Council is consulting as part of the requirement in the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 to capture the opinions of the community in the decision-making process. Please note that the content of any representations made and the details of the party or parties making such representations may appear in a publicly available report to the Perth Common Good Committee of the Council.
