Overview

           

The aim of the consultation is to provide an opportunity to comment on the proposal for a lease to be granted to Klaudyna Karnia for the commercial property at 2 North Port, Perth.  It is proposed that a lease be granted with the following terms:

  • The proposed start date is 28 February 2024;
  • The lease duration is for a period of 3 years; 
  • The Tenant will have an option to terminate the lease annually on the anniversary of the date of entry; 
  • The property will be used for the purpose of a beauty salon;   
  • The tenant will require to obtain all necessary statutory consents in connection with the proposed use;
  • The tenant will be responsible for all repairs to the leased subjects;
  • On other normal commercial terms.
 

 

Why your views matter

The property proposed to be leased has Common Good status and the Council is consulting as part of the requirement in the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 to capture the opinions of the community in the decision-making process.  Please note that the content of any representations made, and the details of the party or parties making such representations, may appear in a publicly available report to the Perth Common Good Fund Committee of the Council.

If, following consideration of any representations received in this consultation, the Council decides to proceed with the proposal, the lease will be granted as soon as practicable.

What happens next

Once the feedback from this consultation has been collated, it will be used in the preparation of the report to the Perth Common Good Fund Committee regarding the granting of the lease to Taste Talk Limited.  The results will then be made available on the Perth & Kinross Consultation Hub.
