Digital Participation 2022
Overview
Perth & Kinross Council are seeking views on digital participation, and by this we mean access to the internet and using digital technology. The Council are keen to understand levels of access across the Council area, the barriers to this, and what could be done to improve this.
Why your views matter
This consultation seeks to establish a baseline of digital participation across the Council area (defined as access to the internet and using digital technology), identify groups less likely to be digitally connected, the barriers and facilitators to participation, and to develop a project report and action plan which supports improved uptake.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, digital participation has become even more important as a way for households to access essential services and maintain social contact.
Perth & Kinross Council has contracted consultants to carry out a doorstep survey to support this online consultation.
We hope to gain views from a representative sample of Perth and Kinross residents.
