Den of Alyth Management Plan
Overview
The Community Greenspace Den of Alyth Management Plan will determine the current and future management and maintenance of The Den of Alyth.
As a team working within Perth & Kinross Council, Community Greenspace manages budgets for maintenance, repair, and enhancement of all countryside sites across the county, thus planning for current and future generations of visitors.
Why your views matter
This consultation with communities, statutory bodies (such as NatureScot), and all relevant departments within Perth & Kinross Council will contribute to a masterplan for the Den of Alyth from which a prioritised projects list is extracted.
The projects list, the masterplan, and written report with maps, constitute the overall management plan, and is a flexible tool that may change as priorities shift, designed to assist with applying for funding. Projects might include: new signage and waymarking, path works, drainage works, play area works, bench and picnic bench provision, car park and access improvements, and tree works (in the context of the Forest Plan and within the designated Sites of Special Scientific Interest.
Please click on the "Online Survey" link below to give us your views. Your response will help us understand who visits the site, how and why, and what the quality of their experience is. We also welcome any other comments, impressions, and suggestions. This short survey will take no more than 5-10 minutes to complete and you can save and return to complete your responses at anytime.
We appreciate that under recent Covid-19 restrictions your visits to The Den may have changed. Please answer the survey questions as you would in non-restricted times.
What happens next
The information collated from this survey will be analysed and used to assist in the next steps of updating the new management plan. There will be more opportunities in the future to give your thoughts and views.
