Perth and Kinross Climate Action: Community Engagement Programme
Overview
Let’s Tackle Climate Change Together!
Perth and Kinross Council's Climate Change Team are asking all community groups to complete this questionnaire and tell us about how you would like to engage with the council and other community groups undertaking climate action.
Click the link at the bottom of this page to complete the questionnaire to help us understand how community groups would like to engage.
Why Take Part?
Your views matter to us! We want to work together with our local voluntary and community sector to tackle climate change. Communities play a vital role to achieving a net zero Perth and Kinross. We want to establish regular meetups to ensure your voices are heard and are taken into account in local decision making. We are also keen to explore ideas of how the council can assist and advise community groups to help achieve your goals.
Our goal is to create an annual engagement programme to discuss how we can all work together to tackle climate change. This questionnaire will be a mechanism to establish what our communities need, and we can develop the programme based on your feedback.
By facilitating regular meetings, we hope this will allow you to keep up to date with climate change action across Perth and Kinross. It will also be a platform to share experience and ideas between groups, discuss funding and collaboration opportunities, encourage others to get involved and celebrate the valuable work being undertaken by communities to tackle climate change.
